MilkandMore

DESIGN SPRINT / BRANDING / ART DIRECTION/ PRODUCT DESIGN / INNOVATION

A bottle, a smile and a knock at the door. MilkandMore is the new name for a 150-year-old service that has a special place in British hearts, the milkman. My task, to reinvent milk delivery and make it relevant for Generation Uber, the on-demand consumer.

Design quickly learn quickly

I tapped into the power of co-creation with key stakeholders and customers to identify what mattered most and rapidly generate a range of potent ideas. In a week my strategy and UX team had designed and tested a prototype for an app-based delivery service. Every aspect was thoroughly tested, from brand story and service proposition, sign-up, onboarding, ordering and delivery to product range.

Making mornings easier

Based on the insights from co-creation, I developed a brand narrative based on the idea of easing the stress of crazy morning routines, especially for young families. A fresh take on breakfast was needed with a clean look, uplifting colour palette and comforting, reassuring voice.

Photography assets reflected the story, with milk at the heart of the breakfast table, not shot on its own. By unifying the design language, the experience felt consistent throughout.
